not sure if this is the way to do it -- it works, but just not sure if it is the best way or the right way.

I would be curious as to the situation that lead to this change (the unicode() one) but it should be working.

I see a few issues with the new page:
- Try adding an inline comment, then cancel
- Editing inline comments is missing

I'll see if I can fix them and we need to see if the event-source still works (which I suspect isn't the case).
