The documentation contains this information on greedy_method:

greedy_method
  (str) - see gather, recommended value: "build"

What does "see gather" mean? (Currently there's no option named "gather")

How does Pungi behave when "build" is set? Why is "build" recommended?

What are the other options for this setting?

We already have this in git, but it did not go live yet:

I can't really say why the recommendation is there, but it's removed now.
