  • Describe the issue
    shadow-utils-4.15.1-8.fc41 , built as part of the mass rebuild, has the change from shadow-utils-4.15.1-6.fc41 which breaks chpasswd (and probably other stuff): https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2024-8394646791#comment-3542306 . Because it was done as part of the mass rebuild it skipped testing and went direct to stable, and is now causing tests to fail. Please untag it.

    When shadow-utils is otherwise fixed

  • If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact?
    All openQA tests that try to log in as root using a password set via chpasswd (which is several of them) will fail.
