    To implement https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/BuildJdkOncePackEverywhere we agreed, that a permanent protected sidetag fXY-openjdk will be existing to enable this feature.

  • When do you need this? Yesterday

  • When is this no longer needed or useful? never

  • If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact?
    repack of jdks will case to work

Note that jdk23 was freshly relead, and in two weeks it will have security update. I have built all excpet rawhide (as f42-openjdk target is missing)

Thanks for opening this request, here are the commands that i used to create these tags, and they are sucessfully created.

koji add-tag f42-openjdk --parent=f42-build --arches=x86_64,aarch64,ppc64le,s390x
koji add-target f42-openjdk f42-openjdk
koji regen-repo f42-openjdk

If this is going to be needed every release now, perhaps we should just add it to the branching script to create it then?
