The check-mk package, including the check-mk-agent package, has been orphaned.
Meanwhile: I doubt that many people use any of the packages apart from the check-mk-agent sub-package. (People will most likely install the monitoring server part directly from the check-mk home page.)
I suggest, that we revive the package (which implies updating it to a recent generation to stay clear of python2 code), but only as "check-mk-agent". I believe I can do that.
Thoughts?
@tarvin You can maintain it, but if you want to maintain it then you have to become a packager.

Once you are a maintainer, you can adopt the package and reopen the ticket.
