Hi @irina

PDC entry for python-qpid is updated and the package is unblocked in koji for epel7 tag.
You should be able to rebuild the package now.

Is it available again in the distribution?

I am getting this error:

I should be the package owner. I do not see it on the list of my packages.

The package db still claims the package is "retired" and "disabled", please update and make me the owner.
https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/python-qpid

You are the owner now. But the package remains blocked in fedora.
It was retired for more than 8 weeks and that means it requires a re-review.

It was retired in error, it was removed from distribution only last week. Because there is another package that depends on it, it should be restored ASAP. How do I make this happen?

Have someone re-review it quickly?

not really, it will take a while...

Might be an option to reach out to the devel list to ask if someone could review
the package

it was removed from distribution only last week.

It was retired a year ago from Fedora.

But not so in EPEL7. Wrt policies, pushing to epel7 should still work.

I was able to build a package in koji.
And added new update to bodhi.
However package status for EPEL 7 is still UNTRACKED.
Not sure what happens next...

Koschei tracking is optional. You can enable it by logging in, clicking the ⚙ icon right of "Scheduler parameters" and check Tracked by Koschei. Oh, you already did that.

Also, https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1903329 is opened for an completely unrealted component, I suggest you close it as NOTABUG.

well, there is no bugzilla component python-qpid. Is there another component I can use for this bug?

do we still need to re-review python-qpid?

Do you need it in Fedora? In that case, yes.

Do you only need it in EPEL7? In that case, no.

We only need it in EPEL 7.

You don't need a review.
