It seems Xorg is not configured on a default live image. Attached is the screenshot of what is going on.

I've had this so many times, I'm not sure this is a Revisor issue.
It is due to us not providing a default Xorg config and also booting to runlevel 5 when there is no Xog installed. The latter issue is fixed, I'm trying to gracefully solve the former now. I really don't want to have to force s-c-display and/or firstboot.
This is going to be ongoing and there are a lot more things we should do. However, this ticket will be closed and all improvements should be targeted for 2.0.4.x
