Aurélien Bompard has written a "fedora-qa" tool, which checks all the MUST items in PackageReviewGuidelines that are not covered by rpmlint.

There's a high possibility that we could re-use parts of his code for several new AutoQA test cases. Worth investigating.
Comments from jlaska:
"A more recent script was posted to devel@ list recently. Read the full thread, there are multiple scripts, and relevant follow-ups.

"After discussing with Kamil, I'm moving this back to Future test cases since some more work/investigation is needed before simply adding a wrapper."
Adam notes: I guess this is what became fedora-review, widely used now in package reviews. I'd note that it is acceptable in several circumstances, and often happens, that a guideline 'violation' flagged by fedora-review is actually OK, and effectively 'waived' by the reviewer during package review. Any ongoing automated checks using fedora-review would have to account for this somehow.
